A construction worker was taken to the hospital after getting crushed by industrial glass building materials at a construction site located at 545 West 30th Street in Manhattan on Monday, February 26, 2018. A former firefighter and a forklift operator, who doesn't want to be identified, sprang into action and lift the building materials to free the trapped worker underneath.
